On February 5, 2011 the Palatine Park District held their volunteer recognition luncheon at The Cotillion in Palatine, Bob Bem was awarded the 2010 Palatine Park District Volunteer of the Year Award from the PHGA. Jim Nolan was placed on the Palatine Park District Honor Roll.
