During last Saturday’s round, Mark Schranz hit a 350 yard drive on Hole 6. His ball bounced into Karl Costello who lost control of his push cart. The cart accelerated down the hill, jumped the rail and dove into the pond (faster play may have helped him catch up to the cart). His playing partners managed to hold back their tears of laughter long enough (5 nanoseconds) to fish his cart and clubs out of the pond. Unfortunately Karl did lose a wedge and a lucky 1989 quarter (his reminder to break 90). Karl is now playing with only 4 wedges in his bag, which may slow his game down. If any member finds the wedge in the pond, please leave it in the Proshop or in the nearest trash can.
Note: Losing your clubs in the pond will be known as an “Alligator” in the Animal Game.
