GEM PROGRAM (Golf Enjoyed More)

In order for those members whose abilities have declined somewhat to compete more favorably, the PHGA Board has adopted the GEM Program for all sanctioned events played at Palatine Hills. If you qualify and are interested in participating in this program, contact a member of the GEM Committee.

QUALIFICATIONS:

White Tee 90 rule:
-Be a member of PHGA for a minimum of 2 yrs.
-Play from white tees
-Have a handicap of 25 to 29 from the blue tees
-Minimum age of 65 as of the current year.

75 Rule
-Be a member of PHGA for a minimum of 2 yrs.
-Play from white tees
-Minimum age of 75 as of the current year.
-Has a handicap of 18 to 24 from the blue tees

Gold Tee 100 Rule:
-Be a member of PHGA for a minimum of 2 yrs.
-Play from gold [forward] tees
-Have a handicap of 30 or greater from the blue tees
-Minimum age of 70 as of the current year.

SPECIAL NOTE: GEM Players are allowed to play only from the tee that they Qualify for. Indiscriminate changing of Tees will result in Disqualification.
