PHGA Refund Policy
Policy
Refunds will be provided to members if;
they cancel their participation in an event prior to event starting and they receive confirmation from the event coordinator of their cancellation
Or the event does not reach completion per the PHGA Completed Event conditions
Once the event has started, and the member has begun their participation, refunds will not be provided under any circumstances
Definitions
Refund is the amount of money paid to participate in an event
Walk-off is a player that starts the event by teeing off the first hole of the event but does not complete the PHGA Completed Event due to;
poor play
illness
injury
equipment failure
weather
or any other reason
PHGA Completed Event is defined by;
A PHGA organized event on the PHGA Calendar
The Palatine Hills remains open for the day of the event
Having a minimum of 8 players completing the event
With either 14 or 18 holes that are completed by the minimum number of players
If 8 or more players completed 18 holes then the event will be considered an 18 hole event.
Those participants not completing 18 holes will be considered Walk-offs
if 8 or more players completed 14 holes and less than 8 players completed 18 holes then the event will be considered a 14 hole event
Any scores on 15-18 holes completed will not be entered into the PHGA Scoring System
Refunds
Member refunds will be provided in the following ways;
Pre-Season and Post-Season Pot Games (Thursday, Saturday, Sunday)
paid at Palatine Hills by the Pot Game coordinator
PTT Regular PHGA Events (Saturday and Sunday In-Season)
given to the member at end of season
Travel Events (May, June, July, August)
Refunds given at the travel event by the Travel Event coordinator
Multi-Day PHGA Events (Holiday 36 & 54 Hole Entries)
Refunds given to the member at end of season
Refunds for Takahashi
The Refund Policy fully applies with the addition;
there will be no refunds of supplemental monies after the Friday night submission process is complete
Refunds for Special PHGA Events (Spring Scramble, Turkey Shoot, Palatine Ryder Cup)
At the discretion of the special event committee
